Job summary

Sun Construction, Inc. in Hawaiį Island seeks an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead the project QC program from preconstruction through closeout.

You’ll work with project teams, subcontractors, inspectors, and owners to ensure quality aligns with plans, specs, and manufacturer requirements. The ideal candidate has extensive field leadership, the ability to translate contract requirements into field actions, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial, institutional, industrial, or government construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project Quality Control program from preconstruction through closeout.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
• Plan preconstruction meetings to identify quality requirements and inspections.
• Coordinate testing, inspections, and documentation; track results and corrective actions.
• Maintain daily QC reports and other required records.
