Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Site Quality Manager to join the Field Operations Team on field/project assignments. The role focuses on managing the daily quality control program, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and coordinating with subcontractors and manufacturers.

Responsibilities include conducting jobsite inspections, training team members on the QMS, setting up projects in the quality database, collecting data for improvement, and maintaining the Project Specific Quality

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with minimum five years construction experience OR seven years related construction experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience in light/heavy industrial sector is highly desired.
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage daily activities of the quality control program.
Attend project pre-construction meetings to discuss the QMS program with subcontractors and manufacturers.
Train team members in the use of the quality control program and support resolution of related questions.
Set up projects within the quality program database and assist in maintaining the database and implementing audits.
Ensure the quality program provides fair and effective monitoring of overall quality and that data is collected for marketing, training and continuous improvement.
Conduct jobsite inspections/audits and report findings to the Project Team and Leadership.
Perform QC inspections of installations to ensure compliance with contract documents.
