Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program for a single project under a senior quality manager.

You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report while tracking nonconformances until closure. This role is the entry point to management for field inspectors or technicians ready to own the program and advance with sponsor training and certification support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read specifications and drawings and convert them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to communicate with superintendents about nonconformance.
• Experience in construction materials testing or QC roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and the testing frequency log against the specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests; verify certifications of technicians.
• Write the daily quality control report and meeting records; open, track, and close nonconformance reports; keep audit-ready files.
