Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager I to own the project quality control program, keep the inspection and test plan current, schedule and witness tests, and write the daily QC report.

In this role you will open and track nonconformances, coordinate with the superintendent and engineer, and ensure files are audit-ready. Travel to project sites may be required as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing, special inspection, or contractor QC.
• Able to read specifications and drawings and turn them into a test schedule.
• Direct, organized, and able to communicate NCRs and issues to superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ITP and testing frequency log against specifications.
• Schedule and witness field and laboratory tests.
• Write the daily QC report and meeting records.
• Open, track, and close nonconformance reports with the superintendent and engineer of record.
