Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager I to own the quality control program on a single project under a senior quality manager. You will maintain the ITP, schedule and witness tests, and write daily QC reports while tracking nonconformances until closure.

This is the entry management seat for field inspectors transitioning to manage the program. You will coordinate with superintendents and engineers, manage certifications, and ensure audit-ready submittal and material

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction materials testing or related QC roles.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings and translate into test schedules.
• Direct, organized and able to tell a superintendent when a lift does not pass.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the project ITP and testing frequency against specs.
• Schedule and witness field and lab tests and verify technician certifications.
• Write the daily QC report and three-phase meeting records.
• Open, track and close nonconformance reports with the engineer of record.
