Job summary
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. in Naperville, IL is seeking a Construction Quality Assurance professional for our civil engineering practice. This full-time role focuses on landfill and CCR impoundment projects, with most work in the field and significant Midwest travel.
You will interact with our technical team and contractors, perform QA inspections, conduct testing and sampling, and complete field reports and documentation. A sign-on/relocation bonus may apply based on experience.
Qualifications
- The candidate has 3+ years of landfill CQA project experience including soil liner construction and geomembrane liner installation.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialization preferred.
- CCR landfill and impoundment experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Quality assurance inspection at landfill and impoundment construction sites, performing daily inspections, testing, and sampling to monitor progress and conformance with plans and safety standards.
- Completion of daily testing and survey activities.
- Preparation and filing of field reports and database management.
