Job summary

RMR Mechanical is seeking a Quality Technician to support field QA/QC activities on active projects. You will perform visual welding inspections, verify welders and continuity records, and help maintain weld logs and material documentation on site.

The role requires AWS CWI certification, 2+ years in industrial construction or related QA/QC fields, and the ability to travel extensively to project locations. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial construction, welding, fabrication, inspection, or QA/QC
• Working knowledge of welding processes and inspection practices
• Ability to read drawings, weld symbols, and project documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency including MS Office and documentation systems

Responsibilities

• Support QA/QC activities on assigned projects with the Quality Site Manager.
• Perform visual welding inspections and verify conformance with WPSs and drawings.
• Verify welder qualifications and maintain weld logs and material documentation.
• Assist with NDE coordination and nonconformance reporting as needed.
• Maintain organized quality records and turnover documentation.
