Job summary

Climax Molybdenum is seeking a Field/Pump Maintenance Helper to support the maintenance and repair of pump systems and related equipment, under direct supervision. This on-site role involves assisting with installation, lubrication, and servicing of pumping systems, pipelines, and water systems in a mining environment.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License and be able to understand English safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job tasks and safety standards.
• Work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols.

• Must pass any required written assessment or evaluation before selection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, installation and repair of pump systems and equipment under direct supervision.
• Support mechanics with removal, repair and installation of pumps, piping and water systems.
• Perform basic lubrication maintenance and monitor equipment condition.
• Operate or assist with light welding and fabrication as needed.
• Maintain accurate work orders and conduct housekeeping in work areas.
