Qualifications

• Must have at least five years of operational experience in a managed care organization.
• Experience with provider orientation, ongoing education, problem resolution and provider communications.
• Face-to-face visits to provider offices and travel to territory assignments/counties required.
• Knowledge of Texas Medicaid and CHIP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Cook Children’s Health Plan and contracted providers.
• Conduct onsite provider orientation, education and training to support engagement and compliance.
• Provide provider performance scorecards and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate publication of provider directory information and newsletters.
