Job summary

Cook Children's Health Plan is seeking a Provider Relations Coordinator in Fort Worth, TX. This field-based role liaises between the health plan and contracted providers, conducts onsite orientation, education, training, and manages provider relationships to support engagement and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong presentation skills, knowledge of Texas Medicaid and CHIP, and travel across assigned counties to visit provider offices and deliver scorecards and communications.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with advanced training in healthcare, business, or related field.
• Five years of operational experience in a managed care organization in provider network management.
• Experience with face-to-face visits to provider offices and traveling to designated counties.
• Experience presenting information to individuals and groups.
• Knowledge of governmental managed care programs desired.

Responsibilities

• Onsite provider orientation, education and training.
• Travel to assigned service areas for in-person education.
• Deliver provider performance scorecards and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate health plan initiatives and ensure providers have the tools and resources.
• Maintain accuracy of the provider directory and publish the provider newsletter.
• Develop and maintain the provider reference guide and other communications.
