Job summary

The Auto Club Group is seeking a Field Property Claims Specialist in Detroit, MI with field inspections, damage assessment, coverage determinations, and estimates. You will guide policyholders through the claims process with professionalism and empathy, including CAT response support for large-scale events.

This role requires travel within the local market, a hybrid schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM EST – 5:30 PM EST), and the ability to operate claims software while maintaining strong customer

Qualifications

• Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience.
• In states where an Adjuster’s license is required, eligible to acquire a State Adjuster’s license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing assigned claims and contacting insured/affected parties.
• Documenting the claim file in the claims system and setting expectations for the process.
• Perform complex coverage analysis and determine appropriate recovery potential; approve payments as warranted.
