Job summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is seeking a Field Property Claims Specialist in Detroit, MI to conduct on-site inspections, assess damages, determine coverage, and prepare accurate estimates while guiding policyholders with professionalism.

This hybrid role involves CAT support, travel to field locations, and collaboration with internal teams, requiring strong negotiation and communication skills to resolve claims efficiently and empathetically.

Qualifications

• Complete ACG Claim Representative Training Program or demonstrate equivalent knowledge or experience.
• Eligible to acquire a State Adjuster’s license within 90 days of hire if required by state.
• Three years of experience in negotiation, evidence evaluation, and claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing assigned claims and contacting insureds and affected parties.
• Prepare damage estimates and validate estimates for accuracy.
• Conduct complex coverage analysis and determine applicability of policy terms.
• Assist CAT response efforts and coordinate with underwriters or SIU as needed.
