Job summary

HanwhaQcellsUSA Corp is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support nationwide solar and energy storage EPC projects. The role requires 100% travel and long-term site assignments (8–12 months per project), with on-site work Monday–Friday and overtime as needed.

You'll assist in schedules, procurement, permits, and cost controls while promoting safety and quality across project sites nationwide. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and be ready for a field-based travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with construction experience; alternative: 7+ years in HV substations, PV, BESS or similar projects.
• Strong experience with project scheduling, CPM logic, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel full-time across the United States and work on site.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in executing deliverables, schedules, and timelines.
• Lead procurement processes and coordinate engineering solutions with project teams.
• Acquire permits and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Track progress, report KPIs, and maintain project documentation.
• Assist cost tracking, resource planning, and overall project controls.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and conduct job hazard analyses.
• Ensure adherence to safety and health requirements on site.
