Job summary

HanwhaQcellsUSA Corp is hiring an Electrical Superintendent to support utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the United States. This on-site, field-based role places you on project sites for 8–12 months at a time, with 100% nationwide travel and relocation as needed.

You will lead electrical construction crews, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while adhering to safety standards and quality requirements across diverse site environments.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience in major project construction (utility-scale or power).
• Solar PV, wind, or BESS project experience preferred.
• Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and field operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices (AC/DC/MV, commissioning).
• Experience with MS Project or similar PM tools.
• Willingness to travel full-time (100% nationwide).
• Strong communication skills, bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction crews and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
• Oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (HSE).
• Monitor project progress and identify risks, issues, and solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Manage subcontractor performance and overall field execution.
