Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Field Project Manager - CSD to lead end-to-end customer projects across North America. The role requires strong coordination with customers, internal ENGEL teams, and outside partners, with significant on-site involvement.

You will manage planning, budgets, schedules, and safety, traveling frequently and communicating proactively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, automation or field service environments.
• Experience in injection molding, plastics processing or related manufacturing environments is preferred.
• PM certification (PMP) or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of assigned projects including planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, implementation, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary on-site & remote representative and point of contact for customers throughout project execution.
• Travel to customer facilities to oversee field operations, installations, equipment upgrades, commissioning activities, and service-related projects.
• Coordinate project activities between customers, subcontractors, vendors, field technicians, and internal departments.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, manpower plans, and completion targets.
• Monitor project scope, budgets, timelines, labor utilization, and project performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all field activities are executed in compliance with safety standards and customer requirements.
