Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Project Manager for the Customer Service Division to oversee and coordinate projects, driving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and successful execution.

The role serves as a central point of coordination between internal departments, leadership, customers, vendors, and field personnel to ensure on-time delivery within scope and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of project coordination or project management experience.
• Experience managing projects in manufacturing, industrial services, construction, automation, or service-related environments preferred.
• PM certification preferred (PMP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, implementation, reporting, and closeout activities.
• Establish project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and status updates to support successful project execution.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates, risks, delays, and changes to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate communication and activities between internal departments, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Support customer communication and help manage customer expectations throughout the duration of projects.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, including agendas, meeting minutes, follow-up items, and progress reporting.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for operational improvement and support implementation of process enhancements where applicable.
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, tracking logs, and project records.
• Help ensure projects remain aligned with budgets, schedules, quality standards, and company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient workflows and project execution.
• Identify and elevate project concerns, resource constraints, or scheduling conflicts as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental objectives.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
