Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Field Project Manager to manage end-to-end customer projects in the field, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and customers. The role requires extensive on-site presence with strong planning and cost control responsibilities.

You will drive project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation, and communications, ensuring safety and timely delivery while maintaining exceptional customer relationships across multiple sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in industrial/manufacturing or related environments.
• Experience in injection molding or plastics processing is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end projects from planning to closeout, including schedules and budgets.
• Serve as primary on-site and remote representative for customers.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, and resource plans.
• Monitor scope, timelines, labor, and costs to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead regular status meetings and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on site.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
