Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a Field Project Manager for Data Centers in the Dallas, TX area. The role focuses on installation, programming, start-up, certification, and customer training on Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects.

The position requires leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects meet budget and schedule with significant travel. This is a full-time, on-site role with a collaborative, growth-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with building automation systems, fire alarm systems, or electronic security systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Strong supervision and installation experience; ability to mentor and coordinate teams.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; basic math skills for site tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused service approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of projects for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Coordinates and supervises subcontractors and field staff; mentoring and directing work.
• Prepares installation plans and implements job procedures with the Project Coordinator.
• Identifies and mitigates project risks; communicates deviations in cost and schedule.
• Ensures installation quality aligns with codes, standards, and customer expectations.
• Interfaces with customers to provide training and technical support as needed.
