Job summary

IES Communications is seeking an Associate Project Manager to oversee small to medium projects, ensuring work aligns with safety, quality, and financial goals. You will manage staffing, materials, and customer delivery while coordinating with the Training Department for quality and safety initiatives.

The role requires leadership, budgeting, and strong communication to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Travel within branch/region is expected as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and manage project staff per company policies.
• Act as senior liaison for customer operational interface.
• Plan, monitor and maintain project profitability to meet company goals.
• Ensure deadlines are met per customer requirements.
• Manage workload distribution, staffing levels, and progress of delivery and installation.
• Review job cost postings, invoices, collections and financial reporting to customer and management.
• Complete all IES paperwork on time (timesheets, transfers, work orders, change orders).
• Perform quality checks, prevent outages, conduct day-to-day site walks and produce as-built drawings.
• Serve as on-site primary customer contact and attend meetings as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; monitor processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and implement process improvements; coordinate with Training Department on quality and safety.
