Job summary

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 7+ years in construction, including 3–5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction industry.
• Minimum three to five years of experience supervising others.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background investigation.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current on all company required safety training.
• Strong knowledge of project management and/or estimating software (P6, HCSS, PlanGrid).
• Thorough knowledge of construction contracts/law and SOPs.
• Occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, coordinates, and oversees construction projects through Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Engineers.
• Ensures projects are built on schedule and within budget; interfaces with clients and estimators.
• Prepares documentation and correspondence to clients pertaining to contracts and status.
• Represents the company in project meetings and pre-job client meetings when required.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts and subcontracts to protect the company’s interests.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers, A/E reps, and unions.
• Provides leadership to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers; mentors staff.
