Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Field Project Manager to combine advanced surveying expertise with project management and financial oversight. The role oversees all billing for designated survey projects and leads day-to-day project controls coordination.

Based in Chicago, Geneva, or Oak Brook, IL, you''ll be the primary client contact for billing and reporting while maintaining strong technical proficiency in survey equipment and software.

Qualifications

• 1 year of project controls or project management experience.
• 5+ years of surveying experience.
• Valid driver''s license (CDL not required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and surveying software.
• Experience with project controls, billing, and reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Act as team lead in coordination of day-to-day project controls and operations
• Provide oversight and QA/QC of all client reporting including monthly forecasts and accruals
• Act as point of contact for clients regarding billing, reporting, and daily financial concerns
• Interface with subcontractors to ensure smooth monthly invoicing and billing processes
• Provide periodic QA/QC checks on all HBK survey work for quality standards
• Perform independent reviews of survey work for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders
