Job summary

HDR is seeking a Resident Project Representative I to join our Building Engineering Services Group. You will read and interpret construction drawings, monitor contractor activities, track quantities, and prepare pay estimates while attending progress meetings on complex data center and facility projects.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction technology, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts and codes governing construction.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies or conflicts.
• Maintain accurate daily records of contractor activities, labor, equipment and materials.
• Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance; attend progress meetings.
