Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a Project Engineer to provide field support for the Bull Run Pipelines Project in Gresham, Oregon. This role involves assisting project management with subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and documentation to ensure on‑time progress and compliance with plans and permits.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 2–3 years of field construction experience on large heavy civil projects, and is willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years’ field construction experience at the jobsite level.
• Experience on large heavy civil construction projects.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment techniques, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support to project management and supervision staff to ensure work is efficient and compliant with policies.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement and management, package development, layout, and scheduling.
• Prepare documentation, drawings, and method statements to support construction.
• Review project schedule, process RFIs, and produce progress reports.
• Maintain project management systems and assist in resolving contractor claims and change orders.
