Job summary

MWH Constructors in Oregon seeks a Project Superintendent to provide field leadership for the Bull Run Pipelines Project in Gresham, Oregon. You will supervise major work activities and coordinate with subcontractors to meet drawings, specifications, and schedule.

The role requires a 2- or 4-year degree in engineering or construction management (or equivalent), 5+ years supervising heavy civil projects, knowledge of cost control and scheduling, and strong safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience, skills and training may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise major work activities including site work, concrete, water-holding structures, mechanical and process equipment installation.
• Plan and supervise employees and subcontractors’ activities; review methods, manpower, material quantities, equipment, schedules and hours.
• Coordinate work with employees and different subcontractors while maintaining safety compliance and project schedule.
• Liaise with engineering and project management to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and schedule.
• Assist in resolving construction problems, such as productivity or interfaces, as needed.
• Monitor safety program compliance and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure materials, equipment, inspections, and related support align with the schedule.
• Review daily activity plans to ensure proper staffing and resources for next-day work.
