Saiia Construction Company LLC is seeking a Field Engineer/Project Engineer to manage project engineering tasks, daily reports, scheduling, budgeting updates, and RFI handling on a multi-year project near Birmingham, AL. The role is field-based with ~75% travel, per diem, and relocation support as needed.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering background, experience with design drawings, and proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum one year in field or project engineering for construction.
• CCR/coal ash remediation experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or equal modeling software.

Responsabilités

• Interprets design/drawings for Superintendents and Foreman in the field.
• Coordinates with the Project Manager to resolve drawing interpretation issues.
• Performs drafting, digitizing, mapping, and quantity takeoffs for construction work.
• Assists field staff with survey control lines and elevations for grading and installation.
• Ensures current drawings are issued to relevant parties for all project phases.
• Maintains drawing logs and supports monthly production reports.
