Job summary

Saiia Construction Company LLC, a MasTec company, is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, execution, QA/QC, documentation, and closeout of heavy civil construction projects. The role collaborates with project management, site supervision, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and testing firms in the field.

Primarily field-based, you will perform soil sampling, drafting, reviews, and field testing, maintain records, and assist with project setup, budgeting, billing, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in heavy civil construction and QA/QC is preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the project team from preconstruction planning through project completion and closeout.
• Interpret plans and submittals; coordinate with Project Manager to resolve issues.
