Gibraltar Fabrication is seeking a Project Engineer to support daily field operations on heavy civil and perimeter security construction projects. This field-based role collaborates with the Project Manager, Superintendent, Foreman, subcontractors, and partners to coordinate technical requirements, track progress, maintain documentation, and ensure safety and schedule compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred.
• Experience in heavy civil or perimeter security construction.
• Experience with Primavera P6 and scheduling.
• RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Aufgaben

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and other project documents.
• Coordinate with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs and assist with resolving technical and field-related issues.
• Monitor field progress against schedules, milestones, and contractual requirements.
• Verify quantities, materials, installed work, and field conditions.
• Track submittals, material approvals, inspections, testing, and other project requirements.
• Assist with project cost tracking, estimates, change orders, and quantity documentation.
• Perform field observations to verify work is complete per drawings and quality requirements.
• Identify conflicts, delays, constructability issues, and project risks and help develop solutions.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and project records.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate technical requirements to field and project teams.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with project personnel and third parties.
• Assist PM and Superintendent with planning, budgeting, procurement, and closeout.
• Create and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and maintain WBS and resources.
