Job summary

Midwest Drywall Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial construction project execution with a strong emphasis on field operations and jobsite coordination.

You will work closely with Field Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators to drive progress, ensure quality, and maintain schedule and budget. The role spends significant time in the field, serving as a critical link between jobsite and office, and offering growth toward a Project Manager position.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in construction or project coordination (internship acceptable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge or strong interest in light gauge framing and drywall systems.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Superintendents, Project Managers, and Estimators on project execution with a strong field presence.
• Coordinate field activities including manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Monitor jobsite progress to align with plans, specs, and schedule; uphold safety standards.
