Job summary

Midwest Drywall Co. Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Commercial Drywall Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects, focusing on framing and drywall.

You will oversee direction on projects, monitor progress, and manage financials with the Superintendent to uphold a safety-first culture. The role requires strong communication and a deep understanding of construction processes, with travel between jobsites and collaboration with the preconstruction team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of light gauge framing and drywall a plus.
• Ability to collaborate in a team and contribute to project success.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and leadership for projects with the Superintendent.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Lead safety culture and mentor others on site.
• Support preconstruction activities including takeoff, coordination, and bid packages.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; monitor costs and budget performance.
