Job summary

The McDonnel Group in Cameron, LA is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Management Department. You will support the project team through thorough document creation and control, coordinating with trades, and maintaining schedule information.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in Commercial Construction, be detail-oriented, and enjoy collaborative work. Proficiency with MS Excel/Word, and familiarity with project management software such as P6 and Procore is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction / Project Management, or equivalent required.
• 1+ years general construction experience in the commercial or industrial space.
• Must pass pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen.
• Must possess a current and valid state driver\'s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Produce meeting packets and minutes.
• Coordinate and generate RFIs and maintain RFI log.
• Review and process all submittals; maintain submittal log.
• Post in record documents; As-Builts.
