Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations team in a hands-on, field-facing role. The position supports the execution and management of project needs, prepares project-related spreadsheets and reports, and maintains close collaboration with the project team, including foremen and subcontractors.

The candidate will generate documentation, perform material take-offs, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies while remaining flexible to site locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software.
• Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, first-class customer service.
• Assist with the execution and management of project needs.
• Prepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reports.
• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with the project team.
• Generate, maintain, and facilitate project documentation for all phases.
