Job summary

WT Byler, a Quanta Services company, seeks a Project Assistant to support the Project Manager with day-to-day field operations and project administration. The role requires travel to Texas project sites and on-site work for extended assignments, with a focus on organization, reliability, and clear communication.

You will handle daily reports, documentation, and data entry while coordinating with field teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in project support, field or construction administration preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with field teams.
• Willingness to travel throughout Texas for extended project assignments.
• Ability to work in field settings and comply with PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with coordinating daily project activities and tasks.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, meeting notes, schedules, and files.
• Enter and update project data, spreadsheets, and logs accurately.
• Support tracking of labor, materials, equipment, and deliveries.
• Assist with purchase requests, invoicing documentation, and admin needs.
• Communicate with field personnel, vendors, and internal teams to gather information.
• Coordinate meetings, site logistics, and other project execution activities.
• Follow company and site safety requirements.
