YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is hiring a Part-Time Field Coordinator in Gig Harbor, WA. The role coordinates YMCA field-based programs, events, and activities, ensuring safety and a positive participant experience.

Responsibilities include on-site coordination, communication with staff and families, and using rental software for scheduling. Requires 2 years of youth or outdoor program experience, HS diploma, and ability to work evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Must pass Background and Reference checks (WA State Fair Chance Act).
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive environment.
• Able to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support field rentals and programs with safety and standards.
• Assist in executing recreational, educational, or enrichment activities.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for participants and families.
• Communicate updates and incidents to the Program Director.
• Utilize field rental software for scheduling and documentation.
• Monitor activities for safety compliance and document incidents.
