Job summary

Altorfer Industries is seeking a Product Support Solutions Representative to grow and sustain Parts and Service sales. This outside sales role requires frequent travel and field visits to customers, delivering cost-saving service solutions that lower owning and operating costs.

You will market campaigns, quote professionally, and provide territory updates to the Product Support Sales Manager. A four-year degree and strong sales background are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree preferred.
• Five years of proven Outside sales experience in the construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; MVRO check on final candidate.
• Sales skills to help customers overcome objections and close.
• Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Able to assist customers and employees professionally.
• Mechanic knowledge to understand equipment opportunities and convey them internally.
• Proficient in internet, e-mail, spreadsheets and word processing; CRM tools.
• Must learn and use listed software/tools within 6 months (as listed).

Responsibilities

• Schedule customer visits in line with PAR requirements.
• Market and communicate offerings and campaigns to position Altorfer as the preferred Product Support choice.
• Sell Altorfer goods and services to lower equipment owning/operating costs.
• Provide internal feedback to drive market-responsive changes.
• Forecast growth potential and identify target accounts within territory.
• Manage tool needs and keep customers updated on options to reduce costs.
• Educate customers on service facilities and capabilities; involve experts as needed.
• Track issues in CIM and coordinate with Product Support Sales Manager for resolution.
• Maintain CRM data and complete sales activities within guidelines.
• Follow up on leads within two days per SalesLink guidelines.
