Job summary

Alta Equipment Group's South Elgin, IL location is seeking a full-time Product Support Sales Representative to provide OEM and aftermarket parts and service sales in the assigned territory.

You will build relationships with equipment owners, make cold calls, grow sales, and uphold Alta's Guiding Principles. Ideal candidates have an associate degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience, plus strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 4-6 years of experience.
• Strong negotiation, selling and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record and automobile insurance.
• Computer programs: Word processing, spreadsheet, accounting and equipment manufacturing technical software.
• Language skills: read/interpret safety rules and procedures; write routine reports; speak before groups.
• Mathematical and reasoning abilities to handle discounts, sums, and problems.

Responsibilities

• Sales of OEM parts and sales.
• Sales of aftermarket parts and sales.
• Make cold calls to equipment owners in assigned territory.
• Work in territory and provide growth in sales in those areas.
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Consistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time.
