Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Producer to join our growing team. Reporting to a manager or Area Vice President, this role focuses on sales and renewal of business, earning commissions, and is defined as a producer under the TOP GUN program. Much of the work occurs outside of the branch or office.

The position emphasizes developing new revenue, managing a book of business, and pursuing growth opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships and following agency guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and acquire new business revenue from new and existing clients.
• Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities with a growth plan.
• Follow up to address client needs and resolve problems or issues.
• Train client personnel as necessary or as instructed by Regional Manager.
• Ensure resources from within the organization are involved with the client and introduce new products where appropriate.
• Provide weekly action reports along with leads and opportunities as instructed by Team Leaders.
• Present proposals to clients with attendance by appropriate team members and resources.
• Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Remain up to date with market conditions and status of competition.
