Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Producer to join our growing team. This role focuses on the sales and renewal of business, earning commissions, and participating in the TOP GUN program.

Reporting to a manager or Area Vice President, the producer handles activities beyond the branch location. The position involves developing new business from existing and new clients, managing a book of business, addressing client needs, and coordinating with internal teams to present proposals and grow revenue.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Associate and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years automotive F&I experience or sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business revenue from clients.
• Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue growth opportunities.
• Follow up to address client needs and resolve issues.
• Train client personnel as necessary or as instructed by Regional Manager.
• Ensure resources are used effectively and introduce new products as appropriate.
• Provide weekly action reports with leads and opportunities as instructed by Team Leaders.
• Present proposals to clients with the appropriate team members.
• Follow Agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Remain up to date with market conditions and competitors.

Business is primarily conducted outside of the physical location of the branch or office.

How You Will Contribute:

• Responsible for the development and successful acquisition of new business revenue from new and existing clients.
• Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book, where appropriate, including a specific business plan for growth.
• Follow up to address client needs and resolve any problems or issues.
• Train client personnel as necessary or as instructed by Regional Manager.
• Ensure proper resources from within the organization are involved with the client and introduce new products, where appropriate.
• Provide weekly action reports along with leads and opportunities timely as instructed by Team Leaders.
• Present proposal to clients, ensuring all appropriate team members and resources are represented/attend.
• Follow Agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Remain up to date with current market conditions and status of competition.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:
