Job summary

ASM is seeking a Manager II, Field Process to lead customer process engagement, NPI, and the transition to high-volume manufacturing in Boise, Idaho. You will drive process performance, resolve escalations, and build a high-performing field process engineering team.

You will partner with R&D, Product Engineering, KPU, Field Service, and Sales to execute technology programs, align priorities, and deliver on-time milestones while maintaining safety and IP protection.

Qualifications

PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
12+ years with a Bachelor's, 9+ years with a Master's, or 6+ years with a PhD in semiconductor industry with deposition expertise (PEALD/PECVD/LPCVD/ALD/Epitaxy).
Experience transferring complex deposition processes from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.
Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership with track record of driving organizational change.
Willingness to travel; primarily onsite in Boise, Idaho.
Experience managing IP boundaries and cross-functional collaboration.
