Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Field Process Engineer in Hillsboro, OR to advance ALD, PEALD, PECVD, Epitaxy, and LPCVD processes at customer sites. You will bridge customer teams and ASM units, drive successful process introductions, and support continuous improvement in advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

You will train field staff, lead experiments, analyze data, and ensure knowledge transfer while maintaining IP boundaries and strong customer partnership.

Qualifications

• MS degree or PhD in a relevant field with experience in semiconductor processes.
• Experience in thin-film processing and deposition techniques.
• Strong problem analysis and DOE skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and transfer new deposition processes at customer sites.
• Train teams and coordinate cross-functional activities for NPI.
• Design on-site experiments and analyze process performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and develop improvement proposals.
• Document learnings and enable knowledge transfer.
