Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Superintendent (ComEd) to lead field operations across Chicagoland power infrastructure projects. You will supervise crews, coordinate schedules, and ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery of substations and electrical distribution work.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of field experience in power utility or electrical infrastructure construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for power utility construction projects, including substations and electrical infrastructure.
• Supervise crews, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure work is safe, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities including scheduling, material delivery, equipment usage, and workforce planning.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Review project plans, specifications, and permits to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve field issues and maintain progress.
• Maintain detailed daily reports, track production, and monitor productivity and quality of work.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all installations meet required standards and specifications.
