Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician FSR2 to join our team and support field operations. You will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and industrial controls at client sites, taking on more complex tasks with increased independence.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with power systems, electrical equipment, and industrial controls, and a commitment to high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Electrical/Mech Engineering or related field preferred.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, or other technical certifications are a plus.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience as a field service technician focused on power systems, electrical equipment, or industrial controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at client sites, including transformers and switchgear.
• Diagnose issues on-site with minimal supervision to minimize downtime.
• Document service activities, test results, and system performance with clear reports.
• Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers on complex service calls.
• Maintain safety and follow OSHA guidelines and company SOPs.
• Travel to customer sites; organize service calls and coordinate resources.
