Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician (FSR3) to join our team in Irving, TX. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and service electrical systems and industrial controls at client sites, ensuring power systems operate reliably and safely.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of field service experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers. Willingness to travel regionally or nationally is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience with power systems or industrial controls.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Certifications such as NFPA 70E or OSHA 30 are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, LV/MV switchgear, and PLC controls.
• Conduct system diagnostics and address technical issues to ensure minimal downtime and efficient system operation.
• Support system startups and commissioning, ensuring systems are operational and meet customer specifications.
