Job summary

Warren Cat in Midland, TX is seeking an Outside Power Systems Sales Representative to grow the power systems business in the assigned territory. You will focus on sales and rental of Caterpillar and Allied products for standby electric, oil and gas, industrial, and rental applications.

You will travel up to 20% of the time and collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, call on customers, quote prices, and manage CRM data while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years in sales or training.
• Minimum of 3 years' equipment sales experience.
• Experience with rental or heavy machinery is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CAT and Allied products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Computer skills and familiarity with databases/CRM.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers and develop sales leads.
• Work with marketing to develop and execute sales campaigns.
• Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers.
• Demonstrate products and emphasize features.
• Quote prices and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on production schedules.
• Prepare transaction reports and manage expenses.
• Maintain CRM data and customer relationships.
