Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is hiring a Rental Technician II. This Rotational role requires travel to and lodging at the assigned work location for 14 days on, followed by 7 days off.

You will provide high-quality repair service on Caterpillar equipment to respond to customer needs promptly and maximize value for work performed. Typical duties include completing jobs per ERLG, safe operations, proper documentation, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of gas/diesel engines and EPG systems.
• Ability to provide accurate quotes.
• Must be at least 21 and obtain CDL within 90 days of hire for field assignment.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs per Caterpillar Equipment Repair Labor Guidelines (ERLG) without sacrificing quality or safety.
• Work safely and follow WCAT safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access databases required to finish jobs accurately.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, inspect assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Submit parts and core returns with proper documentation.
• Test and verify correct operation of repairs and adjustments.
• Mentor Rental team members.
