Job summary

Warren CAT in Midland, TX is seeking a Rental Field Technician I to provide high-quality repair service on equipment and to respond to customer needs in a timely, professional manner. The role involves completing work orders, parts orders, and tests, with opportunities to mentor team members and grow technical skills.

The position requires a GED or high school diploma with related experience preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain required certifications. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• CDL preferred and ability to obtain/certify required licenses.
• Ability to mentor Rental team members.
• Must possess adequate tooling to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality repair service on equipment to meet customer needs promptly.
• Complete work orders, parts orders, and required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, and test assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide accurate information to management for quoting and job costing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, recommend repairs, and complete engine and rental repairs.
• Test and verify operation of all repairs and adjustments.
