Job summary

Sigma Technologies is seeking a Utility Field Technician to collect data on overhead power-distribution infrastructure across East Texas and neighboring regions from Longview, TX. This field role requires outdoor work, travel, and independent time management.

Prior utility/data-collection experience is preferred but not required. You will document pole conditions, attachments, clearances, and related infrastructure using maps, GIS, and mobile data tools, uploading photos and field notes daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys of overhead power-distribution facilities.
• Record pole conditions, attachments, and equipment details.
• Plan daily routes and communicate field conditions to teams.
