Job summary

United Engines, LLC. is seeking a Power Generation Commissioning Technician II to perform on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of generator systems at customer sites across multiple locations.

You will diagnose, test, and optimize performance while following safety and manufacturer standards. This role requires 3+ years on power generation or diesel engines, ability to read schematics, travel as needed, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of power generation or diesel engine experience.
• Experience with Cummins, CAT, Kohler, MTU, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 110, OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair generators.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled service on power generation equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, fuel, cooling, control, and starting system issues.
• Document findings and service reports with parts usage and recommendations.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers during installation projects.
