Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking a Pipeline Technician in Oklahoma to safely operate field gathering and pipeline systems under supervisor guidance. You will work with field compression facilities, processing plants, and related equipment.

The role covers startup/shutdown, routine maintenance, data collection from EFM devices, and adherence to PPE and safety practices. Candidates should be capable of heavy lifting and flexible scheduling, including overtime and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication with all teams and vendors.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and operate in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate field gathering and pipeline systems safely and efficiently.
• Perform One Call locates, wire and mark pipelines, and notify stakeholders.
• Assist pigging operations and document procedures.
• Manage site inventory (glycol, methanol, NGLs, produced water).
• Monitor flow rates and volumes, detect restrictions, and take action.
