Job summary

Getlabs is seeking a Field Phlebotomy Supervisor in Northern California to support day-to-day operations and ensure top-notch patient experiences.

You will supervise mobile phlebotomists, assess performance, hire and onboard, manage schedules and budgets, and handle escalations with patients and internal teams.

Candidates should have 2+ years of management, phlebotomy certification, and strong communication; willingness to work in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in a leadership position.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency: AMT, ASCP, or NCCT.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; Google suite a plus.
• Able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Competency with Google applications and willingness to embrace new technology.
• Ability to handle ambiguity in the absence of defined systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of mobile phlebotomists in one or more geographical markets.
• Assess work performance and perform appointment reviews for compliance, quality, and safety; report findings.
• Administer disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Interview and hire new mobile phlebotomists.
• Effectively onboarding of new hires.
• Complete new hire and annual competency assessments for the team.
• Ensure accurate order and patient appointment record-keeping.
• Administer performance reviews; handle employee concerns and grievances.
• Review daily/weekly schedules for team; plan and assign work; adjust as needed.
• Plan and manage a budget.
• Assist with day-to-day customer service and manager-level escalations including interactions with patients via inbound/outbound calls, emails, and other platforms.
• Review and approve team timecards and expenses
