Job summary

Regeneron is seeking a Medical Specialist in Ophthalmology to support a Tennessee, Alabama, Pensacola to Tallahassee, FL field-based territory. You will build strategic relationships with retina specialists and ophthalmology practices, educate providers on clinical data and treatment pathways, and drive sales objectives across a geographically dispersed region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of specialty sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience selling biologics and buy-and-bill products within specialty healthcare settings.
• Ophthalmology sales experience preferred, with retina-focused experience strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen, account management capabilities, and contract negotiations experience.
• Excellent communication, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow strategic relationships with retina specialists and ophthalmology practices across the territory.
• Execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives and support portfolio growth.
• Educate healthcare providers on clinical data, product benefits, patient identification, and treatment pathways.
• Partner with customers to identify opportunities that improve patient access and outcomes.
• Navigate complex account environments with strong business acumen and strategic account management; travel 40–60% as needed.
• Maintain expertise in ophthalmology and retina landscape, including competitive, reimbursement, and market developments.
